French Toast

Golden, Buttery & Mānuka-Drizzled.

Ingredients

Egg - 1.

Milk (half and half works great) - ½ cup.

Vanilla Extract - ¼ tsp.

Mānuka Honey - ½ tsp (plus more for drizzling).

Ground Cinnamon - ⅛ tsp.

Bread of Choice - 2 slices.

Salted Butter - 1 tbsp.

Directions

  1. Whisk egg, milk, vanilla, Mānuka honey, and cinnamon in a bowl.

  2. Dunk bread into the mixture until fully coated on both sides. Very little liquid should remain.

  3. Heat a pan and add butter.

  4. Cook bread 4–5 minutes per side, checking to avoid burning.

  5. Top with more butter and a generous drizzle of Mānuka honey.
