Sweet & Sour Cauliflower That Hits Just Right.
IngredientsCauliflower - 1 head. Flour - ¾ cup. Cornstarch - 3 tbsp. Milk - ¾ cup. Salt and Pepper - ¼ tsp. Garlic Powder - ½ tsp. Paprika - ½ tsp. Panko Bread Crumbs - 1 cup. Pineapple Juice - 1 cup. Water - ⅓ cup. Vinegar - 3 tbsp. Coconut Aminos - 1 tbsp. Packed Brown Sugar - ½ cup. Manuka Honey - 2 tbsp. Sesame Seeds - To taste. |

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Make the batter:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth.

Coat the cauliflower:
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, letting the excess drip off. Then roll it in panko breadcrumbs to coat.

Bake:
Place coated cauliflower on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Make the sweet & sour sauce:
While the cauliflower bakes, add pineapple juice, water, vinegar, coconut aminos, brown sugar, and Manuka honey to a saucepan.Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.

Combine:
Once the cauliflower is done, transfer to a large bowl. Pour the warm sauce over the cauliflower and toss to coat. -
Serve:
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately. Great with rice, quinoa, or as a finger food with toothpicks!
